About Shawneen

I'm a patient, considerate, and responsible person. I love taking care of seniors because I enjoy building connections with them. I'm looking for a job that gives me a sense of purpose and makes a difference in the lives of others. I've been caring for seniors since 2011. I started as a volunteer hospice companion. In 2019, I got a job as an activity volunteer coordinator at an assisted senior living facility. I loved organizing fun activities that brought joy and meaning to the residents. These activities included daily exercise, games, outings, music, and crafts. I also helped coordinate entertainment for both assisted living and memory care. I love spending time with my family and my animals. I also teach cooking, sewing, and ceramics every month. I'm a kind and considerate person. I follow directions and can stick to a schedule. I'm always on time and polite. I'm certified with multiple hospice agencies, and I'm also a bereavement group facilitator.
