About Shawna
I love children. I'm a child caregiver and retired teacher for K-6th grade students. I have volunteered in the nursery at church since I was 10 years old. I have younger and older siblings and love to babysit my 3 nieces and 10 nephews (aged newborn-23y). I'm currently working with a family with a 12y and 14y old boys on M-F from 7a-(4-6:30p). I'm also working with a family with 2 girls (aged 22mo & 5y) for the occasional date night or event night. Children make me smile and I especially enjoy being around babies as well as children of any age. I'm very willing to also help with household chores like laundry, dishes, food prep, and cleaning up after the kids.
