About Shawna

I'm Shawna, a compassionate, dependable, and experienced private in-home caregiver. My experience includes working in a nursing home, in the Medicare unit, where I provided hands-on care to residents. I also cared for my father while he battled Parkinson's disease. I provided his daily care, including preparing and assisting with feedings, administering medications, bathing, dressing, changings, cooking, cleaning, and safely transferring him using a Hoyer lift. Caring for my father taught me the importance of patience, compassion, dignity, and attention to detail. I understand how important it is to trust someone with the care of yourself or a loved one. My goal is to provide dependable, respectful, and compassionate care while helping my clients remain safe, comfortable, and as independent as possible in their own home.
