I am licensed in Moderate Special Education K-8 but most of my experience has been with students with severe cognitive delays, profound behavioral issues, and complex medical conditions. I have extensive experience working with children and adolescents with special needs. Over the past 10 years, I have worked with students in both one-on-one and group settings, utilizing programs such as Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) to support academic, social/emotional, and Activities of Daily Living (ADL) learning. I have worked with BCBA s, Occupational therapists and other specialized providers. I have worked with non-verbal students using both Picture Exchange Communication Systems (PECS) as well as American Sign Language.
