About Shauntel

I am a compassionate and dependable caregiver with over 10 years of experience in home care, assisted living, memory care, and rehabilitation. My passion for caregiving began as a teenager. My mother was a nurse, and I volunteered as a candy striper at a hospital and alongside her with nursing agencies. I have experience with personal care, bathing, dressing, grooming, meal preparation, mobility assistance, companionship, ADLs, and Alzheimer's and dementia care. I am PCA, CPR, and OSHA certified. I believe strongly in respect, dignity, patience, and patient-centered care. The person I care for always comes first, and I want them to feel safe, heard, valued, comfortable, and as independent as possible. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family and grandchildren, going to church, cooking, and relaxing. Caring for seniors is more than a job to me--it is something I genuinely enjoy and take pride in.
