Hi there, my name is Shaun! I'm a former corporate banker turned incoming child psychology PhD student at UCSB, beginning October of 2026. Currently based in Oakland, looking for childcare roles prior to beginning my PhD! I absolutely love children and have a lot of experience working with them. During undergrad, I nannied the same child for 3 years, from 6 months old until nearly 4. I nannied throughout high school as well, caring for children aged infant through preteen. I also have extensive experience working with children with disabilities. I worked at FVSRA where I assisted children with various cognitive and physical impairments, including (but not limited to) Angleman Syndrome, Down Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, Autism, Microcephaly, and more.
