About Shauna

Empowering students to reach their full potential is at the heart of my teaching practice. With three years of experience supporting elementary through high school learners in English, History, and study skills, I focus on building confidence rather than simple memorization. I adapt my methods to your unique needs by observing how you interact with new material, whether through visual aids, hands-on activities, or open discussion. When concepts become challenging, I connect them to your personal interests and celebrate every small success to keep you motivated. I believe clear, consistent communication with both you and your parents is essential to foster a collaborative and trusting environment. Nothing is more rewarding than witnessing that "aha!" moment when a difficult concept finally clicks. I am truly passionate about helping you succeed and look forward to being a part of your educational journey.
