Then Mom was diagnosed with dementia and needed help with transportation to appts, errands, and odd jobs, but ultimately required assisted-living. I spend many months of the year on the Gulf coast of Florida, and have a flexible schedule that allows me to help others. I do have, and can provide a police background check, and have many references for other service tasks.
