About Sharon

As a tutor, I'm passionate about helping students unlock their full potential through personalized support. I have one year of experience tutoring students from elementary school through college. I actively listen and observe to understand each student's unique learning style, then adapt my teaching with visual aids, hands-on activities, and engaging discussions. I celebrate small successes and foster curiosity to keep students motivated, even when tackling challenging subjects. Communication is key, so I maintain open dialogue with students and parents to build trust and ensure we're all working together. It's incredibly rewarding to witness those "aha!" moments and watch students grow confident in their abilities. I have some college experience and am comfortable tutoring Math, English, Test Preparation, and Art. I am fluent in English, and Spanish. In high school, I was in IB French. I have a car and am comfortable with pets. I would love to help your student succeed!
