Hello, I am Mom to a daughter who struggled with her diagnosis of ADHD since kindergarten. After being enrolled in public, charter, and private schools, it was clear that home school, then independent study high school, is what my scholar needed. Through research and trial and error, I concluded that my scholar simply learned differently. I DO NOT SUBSCRIBE TO THE WORDS "LEARNING DISABILITY." Much repetition is required; the earlier, the better! I patiently work with students in grades kindergarten through 2nd grade because it is important to train the brain early. This includes developing good penmanship. I do work with older students in the areas of reading comprehension, writing, developing their vocabulary and grammar, as well as good study habits. I work in 90-minute segments. My rate is $55 per session. Initial consultation is free.
