About Sharona

I have previously been an ECE educator for [primarily] Head Start for nearly 35 years. I am currently retired but am looking to work in a part time, caretaking role. Working with young children has brought me so much joy and satisfaction over my career, but I think that making a change is the direction that I want to take, now. My focus has always been on the successful implementation of Social/Emotional skills in my students. I am a highly qualified teacher with a great love of teaching children about the Fine Arts in a comprehensive and developmentally appropriate way. I hope to continue to offer myself in a helping capacity to work with those in need of interpersonal care and companionship in the private sector. I look forward to the possibility to work with your family.

Sharona's innate understanding of child development far surpasses any nanny we have ever hired. Her attention to not only the emotional development of my kids but the educational development is outstanding. Sharona established structure and routine during the day and was able to reenforce our house rules as a continuum of consistency to not confuse my kiddos! She used art as a tool to teach my kids so many lessons and when they went into kindergarten, they far exceeded their kindergarten classmates! I would definitely have Sharona as a nanny again if I ever have another child!
