As a substitute teacher, I have had many opportunities to work with children with special needs and/or physical handicaps. I have worked with children who are doing the regular classroom work, but need some extra help. I have also worked with children who have their own individual curriculum that I follow. Additionally, I have a daughter who has an IEP at school and have learned study techniques to help her with her school work.
