About Shari

I bring a thoughtful, experienced approach to childcare shaped by both my professional background and my role as a parent. I have two children (ages 10 and 14), and experience caring for newborns to teens. I hold a master's degree in computer engineering and can confidently assist with homework and support learning. I currently provide part-time care for adults with physical and developmental disabilities, strengthening my patience, adaptability, and attentiveness to individual needs. I'm calm, friendly, and approachable while maintaining clear boundaries and household expectations. I value open communication with parents and follow parents' preferences closely. I enjoy engaging kids with outdoor activities, sports, games, and crafts. As a former volunteer youth soccer coach and lifelong athlete, I love encouraging teamwork, confidence, & healthy play. I'm happy to help with cooking, light housekeeping, & swimming supervision. I have reliable transportation & am comfortable with pets.
