About Sharik

I'd describe me as responsible, honest and caring. Love working with kids 'cause they create a positive environment. We can learn from each other. Spending time with them is exciting, fun and rewarding, specially as we see them grow. I started working with kids at 17, caring for two girls (3 & 5 yrs). Then, at college for three families (ages: 6 months to 7 yrs). Then in the US as an au pair in VA for 2 years (newborn, 3 & 5 yrs). In MD for two families (2 girls: 2 yrs & 8 months and 2 boys: 2 & 5 yrs). Back to VA now! In my free time I like to hangout with my family. Love music, dance, walking and learning new languages. I'm patient and understanding, recognizing kids may find unfamiliar people intrusive at first. I prioritize helping them feel safe and comfortable, respecting their space and time. I enjoy finding common interests, introducing them to new things they can learn and share. I take my responsibilities seriously, specially when it's my job. I always try to give my best!
