I taught kindergarten and first grade for many years. Prior to teaching, I was the director of a large daycare center and nursery school. My degrees are in early childhood education and elementary education. My minor was psychology. I am also a mom of three, successful, adult children. I regularly babsit for their children. Presently, I babysit for a 2-year-old, since he was 7 months old. I was tutoring a 4-year-old and she will now be entering preschool, reading and highly prepared and confident. I am looking for 1. 5 to 2 days more. I love working with small children and I consider myself to be very knowledgeable in all areas of child care and child development. I have always provided a safe, caring, nurturing and stimulating environment for children, so that they can be supported to grow and develop into their best selves.
