About Shardanae

Hi! My name is Shardanae, but you can call me Shar. I'm 19 years old, a graduate of Evanston Township High School, and currently attending Oakton Community College to pursue my nursing degree. I'm a caring, responsible, and patient childcare provider with over 5 years of experience working with children. I started babysitting for neighbors around the age of 14 and gained professional experience at 16 by working in an after-school program. I currently work part-time at the YMCA Children's Center, where I supervise children, create activities, and help maintain a safe and welcoming environment. I enjoy working with kids because I love helping them learn, grow, and build confidence. I enjoy planning fun activities, helping with homework, and creating a positive space where children feel supported. Families can trust that I am dependable, patient, and truly care about every child's well-being.
