About Shara

I am pursuing a live-in nanny position for the months of June and July. As a 35-year veteran high school Business and Marketing educator, I bring a strong background in leadership, communication, and nurturing growth in young people-skills that translate naturally into providing dependable, caring childcare. After retiring from the Georgia education system, I have continued my passion for teaching in Hamilton County, Tennessee. My husband and I reside in Georgia, and our daughter lives in Aliso Viejo, California-making this opportunity especially meaningful to me as it offers both proximity to family and a chance to spend the summer in a new community. As a lifelong educator and mother of three adult children, I am experienced in balancing structure with creativity, ensuring children are engaged, supported, and safe. I am energetic, responsible, and enjoy outdoor activities, exploring new places, and connecting with people from all walks of life.
