About Shanya

-I'd describe my personality as very patient, understanding, and caring. -I enjoy caregiving because everyone deserves to feel their best no matter what stage in life. -I'm looking for a job/place where a caretaker and the patient build a relationship and the job is a place you enjoy going too. -I started caring for seniors after I volunteered at Moffit Cancer Hospital where I meet plenty of people who needed companionship as they received treatment. One thing you should know about me is I am very open minded and never judge. I understand everyone has needs and some needs become bigger over time that a person starts needing help with. The care I have provided for my past families is assisting with day to day care while making the person feel fully independent, safe and comfortable in their own environment. I have worked as a private child care giver for 3+ years and for a senior cancer care giver for 1 year. I have enjoyed my time with both families and am looking forward to a new one.
