About Shanti

Hi, I'm Shanti! I have a degree in Outdoor Leadership, with minors in Education and Music. I love working with kids and have experience with ages 1. 5 through the teen years. I've worked with youth in both home settings and nature-based programs, including mentoring at White Ash Learning Cooperative and providing weekly care for a 15-month-old and 6-year-old this past year. I've also provided occasional care for a handful of families. I'm especially passionate about connecting kids with nature and supporting child-led learning-whether that looks like outdoor exploration, creative play, or following their curiosity. Outside of childcare, I enjoy playing guitar and singing, hiking, crafting, yoga, dancing, cooking, and games. I'm a certified Wilderness First Responder and prioritize safety.
