About Shanteya

Hello parents, My name is Shanteya! I'm currently looking for a full-time nanny position where I can provide attentive and gentle care for your child(ren) alongside my 17-month-old son, . I was a nanny for three years in Baltimore. Unfortunately she started big girl school in the fall of 2024, and I gave birth in November. Prior to that I was a special education bus aide for MCPS. Since having my son I've been a full-time stay at home mom. Some of my favorite hobbies are reading, outdoor activities, as well as arts and crafts. I enjoy creating fun, engaging and developmentally stimulating activities. If no screen time is allowed, I have the knowledge to still provide fun, safe and adequate learning activities. I'm adamant on maintaining consistent routines the family may already have in place. Also, I'm happy to provide healthy nutritious meals. I also have restaurant experience so I'm comfortable handling food allergies. I also don't mind doing housework during naps.
