About Shannon

I work at the peer tutoring center at my University, called the WORD Studio. There, I have developed ample communication skills through interacting with peers and faculty of diverse backgrounds to assist in tailoring their written and verbal work. I took a semester long course and was trained to strengthen peer tutee's skills in analysis, critical thinking, argumentation, organization, and style. Other than tutoring college students, I have experience tutoring children ages 12-15. Because of this experience, I would be more than willing to collaborate with high school students working on their college essays or any other work they need help with.
