About Shannon

have over 17 years of classroom teaching experience with my Master's in Teaching Biology and my ElD(English Language Development) certification. I have taught K-12 with the majority of my time spent in the High school classroom teaching Science and Health. I have also worked as an after school tutor and love supporting and helping students reach their educational potential. I am known for my innovative teaching methods and student-centered classroom. I would assist and support the pod with their online curriculum and supplement it with additional STEM curriculum including 3D printing, laser engraving, urban farming, data collection, and gardening if a budget is given for supplies and materials. Ideally this would be full-time but open to part time as well. I live in Mountain View/Los Alto area but willing to travel for the right pod. Parents should have a safe and effective learning space supplied for the pod.
