About Shannon

I am passionate about supporting autistic and neurodivergent children, youth, and families through compassionate, individualized care. My focus includes sensory-based activities, developmental support, emotional regulation, behavioral assistance, and advocacy for at-risk youth. I believe every child deserves patience, understanding, consistency, and an environment where they feel safe, accepted, and empowered to thrive. My approach emphasizes recognizing each child's strengths, respecting individual needs, encouraging independence, communication, confidence, and positive development. I value building trusting relationships with children and families while respecting their routines, preferences, and goals. I am a State of Oregon mandated reporter and take child safety, protection, and accountability seriously. I am especially passionate about connecting with children who may feel misunderstood and helping them feel valued, supported, and understood.
