About Shannon

Empowering students to reach their full potential is at the heart of my teaching practice. With six years of experience as a teacher , I specialize in helping middle and high school students master Math and Science. I believe that every learner possesses unique strengths, so I prioritize building confidence and fostering a genuine love for discovery over simple memorization. By observing your initial interactions with new material, I adapt my methods--using visual aids, hands-on activities, or discussions--to suit your specific needs. I keep you engaged by connecting complex concepts to real-world examples and breaking down problems into manageable steps. Clear communication with both you and your parents remains a priority to ensure we stay aligned on your goals. Nothing is more rewarding than witnessing that "aha!" moment when a difficult concept finally clicks. I look forward to helping you succeed.
