About Shannon
Experience: 17 yrs
I have 20 years experience providing childcare in my home and/or client's homes. I have provided care for age groups. I worked in a preschool classroom for children with autism for 9 years but accepted a promotion in January 2022. I am now a Transition Specialist/Job Development/Job Coach to Adult's with Intellectual Disabilities. I have also raised three boys who are now 15, 16, and 19. I have been a single mom for 7 years and can relate to families needing extra support. Now that my kids are older, I have much more flexibility in my schedule to offer clients. I love to stay busy an have no problem helping with housework or cooking. I can be available on weekends and any time after 2:30 p.m. Monday - Friday. References available upon request.

We’ve had Shannon watch our 1-year-old daughter several times, and she has been wonderful. She is always on time, very communicative, and so sweet with our little one. We feel completely comfortable leaving our daughter in her care and will definitely continue to have Shannon babysit for us.
