Our family hired Shannon in February of 2024 to care for mom who has vascular dementia. Shannon is an experienced, patient, and loving caregiver AND she helped our family understand and adapt to each stage of dementia as mom experienced it. Shannon’s experience also benefitted our family in unexpected ways. She suspected mom’s pneumonia before we saw the symptoms. She suggested ways to make mom more comfortable, things we wouldn’t have thought of. Shannon went above and beyond our expectations by working extra hours when asked and offering to help with household tasks when time permitted. We have appreciated Shannon’s dedication, dependability, and expertise. Mom’s dementia has now progressed to the point she needs 24-hour care so she has moved to a private care home. Our family is forever grateful for the blessing Shannon has been to mom, for her professionalism, her patience and kindness, and her loving care.
