About Shannon

Hi families! My name is Shannon. I am 25 years old and have 6 years of experience in childcare. I began my career in childcare in 2020 as a behavior technician teaching and caring for children on the autism spectrum. Shortly after, I began career nannying. With a specialty in teaching motor, vocal, and general life skills, I am also experienced with children with special needs (specifically cerebral palsy, ASD, and ADHD), twins, multiples, and newborns. Crafts, sensory play, time spent outside, and open ended creative/educational play is a top priority for me as a nanny, as well as helping aid with emotional regulation and general independence. Working with children has truly become a passion of mine and I thrive to treat every child in my care with patience, love, and empathy.
