About Shannon

Nurturing children and supporting families has been my passion for the past 5+ years. I recently just finished with the family after being there the last five years and now he is old enough to not need a babysitter. I am also a mom of a 26-year-old daughter who is now a Special Education teacher. I am a patient, creative, and approachable caregiver who finds genuine joy in helping children grow. Whether we are playing educational board games, working on crafts, or preparing healthy meals, I focus on creating a safe and engaging environment. In my last job I taught myself to play Fortnight so I could relate to him better which he thought was pretty cool. Since I am a skilled swimmer, I am happy to provide attentive water supervision. I prioritize clear communication and always follow your preferred method for daily updates. I am fully committed to following your lead regarding household rules to ensure consistency for your child.
