About Shannon

I am 47 years old and a mother of 2. Patients under pressure is my strong point. I grew up with an Autistic mother and brother and I had to become a responsible adult at the age of 6. My siblings referred to me as Mom due to the roll I had to play as the oldest child. I too am a mother of an Autistic child which continues to add to my journey of patience and compassion! I have a special place in my heart for the elderly which is why I am starting my career in caregiving. One of my close friends is 82 years old! I am a graphic designer by trade which is why I'm so detail oriented. I still love graphic design, but it is a career that is disappearing with the advancements of technology over the last 10 years and the sudden boom of AI. I have been an Uber driver for 7yrs FT and I'm working on fading that out as I build up my clients for caregiving. I am currently working on my caregiving certification. I am Article 9 Certified - CPR/First Aid certified - Fingerprint Clearance Card
