About Shannon

Hey there! My name is Shannon, but everyone calls me Shay. I am 30 years old and currently working two jobs. I am a private personal care aide for an elderly woman twice a week, and am currently leaving my job as a counselor (put in my two week notice) which I have been doing the past four years. I work in a residential treatment home for children with mental health issues, and have truly enjoyed my time there. Given more free time, I would love to pick up more private cases with the elderly or children. I have always worked in caregiving jobs and truly have the heart for it. I am CPR first aide certified, have a degree in chemical dependency counseling, and traumatic crisis intervention certified as well. If I am able to bring my 9-year-old son with me if needed (he is a very polite, respectful, and big hearted little boy) that is a huge bonus. I am a genuine, compassionate, understanding, trustworthy individual and would love to speak with you!
