About Shannon

Making a real difference in someone's life is what drives me. With four years of experience supporting adults and seniors, I've learned the value of patience and empathy in care. I strive to understand each person's preferences and history to build a strong connection. I adapt to changing routines, de-escalate stressful situations, and incorporate memory care activities. As a home health aide, I assist with daily living tasks, respite care, transportation, errands, personal care, light housekeeping, meal preparation, and mobility. I also have experience with hospice services, dementia care, and medical management. I communicate with families through written reports and verbal updates, always following their preferred method. I have some college education, current CPR and First Aid Training, and my own car. I'm also comfortable with pets. I'm eager to bring my calm, compassionate, and friendly approach to your family and provide the best possible care for your loved one.
