About Shannon

Hi, I'm Shannon! I'm 39 years old and I have 20+ years experience working with children. I was the lead teacher at St. Thomas Episcopal School's elementary extended care program for 5 years. I worked at a daycare in infant, 1, 2, and 3 year classrooms. I nannied for 3 years in Denver for a wonderful family. I've had the privilege of helping to raise my nieces and am very involved in the lives of my friends' children. My other job is cookie decorating, which I love but keeps me stuck in a chair for hours. I take great joy in active fun with kids! I embrace the importance of active play in a child's daily routine to promote physical and mental health. I love activities that stimulate a child's imagination and provide opportunities for them to be creative and interactive.
