We interviewed Shannon and immediately knew she was who we would choose to watch our children. She came to our home with her daughter and the children played and had a great time. Shannon was engaging, personable, shared her values and beliefs (which perfectly aligned with ours). We knew she was "the one!" Without hesitation, we hired her on the spot. She gladly accepted and seemed genuinely happy to be offered the job. We made plans for next steps and finalized the start date. Unfortunately, I never heard from her again. She ignored all texts and calls, and dropped off the face of the earth. My last text to her was basically "I'll take this as though you aren't interested, but can you please just let us know you're OK?" Radio silence since she left our home two weeks ago. Seems very odd and we are still very worried about her. If she was not interested a text or call saying something, versus nothing at all, would have been fine. We are really hopeful she is OK and something didn't happen to her. I did reach out to her husband on social media too, but no response. We are still so sad.
