About Shannon

I have a Bachelor's degree in Veterinary Technology and hands-on experience working as a veterinary technologist in general medicine. Caring for animals isn't just something | love, it's something I've been professionally trained to do. I am comfortable caring for pets with medical needs, administering medications, following special diets, and recognizing changes in a pet's health or behavior that may need veterinary attention. I've worked with animals of all ages and personalities. I've also genuinely loved animals my entire life. I grew up with police dogs, have a dog of my own who I raised from a puppy, and share my home with my eight cats, six of whom I've raised from kittens. Whether I'm caring for a healthy puppy who needs some structure, a senior who needs a little extra attention, or a pet with a laundry list of medical needs, I want them to feel safe, comfortable, and genuinely cared for while you're away. Your animal's comfort is my biggest priority.
