About Shannon

Seasoned child care provider with over 7 years of professional experience in direct care for children from ages 0-3, as well as recent experience providing behavioral therapy services to children with autism ages 0-6. I specialize in play-based learning techniques and love to make meeting developmental goals fun! Additional experience as a professional cook and stewardess/interior housekeeper on luxury yachts. Seeking part-time work as I will be a full-time graduate student starting late May 2026 (M. S. in Early Childhood and Family Clinical Counseling). My skills include fostering play-based learning, creating engaging activities, and understanding developmental goals and milestones. I'd describe my personality as warm, silly, and go-with-the-flow. This bio only allows for 1000 characters, so I'm happy to send my resume over to show the full extent of my experience!
