About Shannon

I am an experienced elementary school teacher looking to support families during the summer. In public schools, I taught third grade for six years and currently work as a Title 1 reading and math interventionist while earning my M. Ed. In childcare, I have worked as a mother's helper (preschooler and twin toddlers!), children's ministry coordinator, reading tutor, theater camp counselor, and babysitter. I am playful and creative with children from babies onward, set clear expectations, and adapt to different family routines and structures. I live with my husband and dog in Churchill and enjoy time with friends (and their kids), running, gardening, and travel.
