About Shannon

Nurturing young minds is my passion! Along with 8 years of babysitting experience, I worked as a Youth Program Coordinator at a library for 2 years and and as a School Based Program Coordinator at a middle school for 2 years. I possess a bachelors degree in social work from La Salle University. I bring patience, creativity, and a friendly demeanor to every interaction. I specialize in educational activities with children from 2-12 years old, including outdoor activities, educational games, STEM activities, and age- appropriate technology. I am comfortable caring for up to four children. I am happy to help with cooking, meal preparation, and housekeeping. I am very comfortable enforcing household rules and always follow parents' preferred communication methods regarding their child's day. Knowing I can contribute to a happy childhood and impact the lives of our youth makes my work truly fulfilling.
