After bending over backwards to accommodate her scheduling needs, salary, and time off requests- not to mention multiple incidents of exposure with COVID, Shannon proved unreliable and unprofessional when she called us to share she accepted a new position, providing us with zero notice and no backup childcare. In addition, she is untrustworthy, she was counseled for engaging friends of ours inquiring about our activities when she is not caring for our children or most recently, informing us that she had cancelled a cruise in favor of going to Florida, given a spike in COVID only to learn via social media that she did in fact go on the cruise and directly exposed my family to COVID. Given the overall experience and how this situation dissolved, I cannot provide a recommendation.
