About Shannon

Hello! I'm Shae, I've recently graduated from university of Nevada, Reno with a degree in Human Development. I love helping children learn and grow by utilizing developmentally appropriate games and activities to help them reach their next milestones. I full-time nannied last summer for two sweet boys ages 5 and 10 but I would be interested in caring for infants as well. I love how with each new step, there is a new skill that they are set on mastering, whether it be rolling over or sitting up, I believe that giving encouragement and love is always so helpful. During my free time, I love the outdoors, being active, cooking and reading. I've also taught many camps for kids like acting, singing and dancing camps. My favorite thing about babies and children is how every moment for them is important in that they are always learning from us. In the future, I hope to get a masters degree in child and family therapy to help more children develop in loving and healthy homes.
