About Shannon

I'd describe my personality as nurturing, vibrant, and empathetic. I love seeing the world through the lens of a child! It's rewarding to be able to help guide their natural curiosity of the world and watch them grow into confident & independent human beings! I'm looking for a long term relationship with the family where I'm able to help the parents feel confident about who is around their child. I want the child to feel safe, secure, and be able to grow alongside me where I can help them in any way that I can. I started working as a toddler teacher in 2005 and I've held various roles within the professional child care industry ranging from lead infant teacher to working in a Montessori school as a pre-k teacher. In my spare time, I love to be outside with my kids camping or inside playing board games! My entire background involves working with children. It's all I know and it's what I love and what I'm good at. My skills include patience, empathy, and confidence.
