About Shannon

Hi! I'm Shannon, a 38-year-old mother of five, four boys and one girl and caring for children is truly my passion. I've spent my life nurturing not only my own children but also those I've had the pleasure of working with professionally. I completed a two year Early Childhood Education program where I helped run a preschool and learned about child development, lesson planning, crafts, songs, etc. Since then, I've worked as a nanny for several families, operated my own in-home daycare, and worked in licensed childcare centers. In addition to my childcare experience, I have a medical background. I have most recently worked as an OB Tech on the labor and delivery unit and previously served as an OR Tech at Dayton Children's Hospital. I'm also CPR certified. I believe in creating a nurturing, safe, and engaging environment where children can learn and grow with confidence. I'm passionate about helping little ones discover the world around them and supporting families in meaningful ways.
