Welcome to my profile! I am a full-time career Nanny with over 25 years of child care experience. I have experience in a daycare setting, after school care & in a preschool setting. I also worked as a patient care technician at a hospital for 5 years, so I am proficient in first aid & CPR. I have worked for two families in the past eight years. I was with a wonderful family with three children for five years. I have been with my current family with two children for an amazing three years. Now that the children are going to school full-time, I am looking for my new family with infants/ toddlers that need full-time care. I truly love what I do for a living, shaping tiny minds everyday fills me with joy. As a nanny my philosophy is to create a safe, loving, creative, exciting environment for children to learn, grow & most importantly, be happy. I find joy in not only caring for and teaching children but curating a peaceful, stress-free environment in the household for the entire family.

Shannon was with our family for 5 years; we have 3 children. When Shannon started we had 1, so she was with us when the younger 2 children were born, so she knows how to juggle multiple siblings at various ages. She is great with little ones, setting guidelines, but allowing them the freedom to do things on their own building up their independence, decision-making skills as well as fine and gross motor skills. She always had them outside (which we loved) and limited screen time. She rarely called in sick and was always on time.
