About Shannon

I have not had paid experience caring for seniors, but have several years of experience caring for my great grandmother and my grandmother. I stayed with my grandmother several days a week and ensured she had appropriate meals, did her OT and PT exercises, took her medication, and got fresh air daily. I also kept her house cleaned and sat with her watching her favorite television shows; as she enjoyed discussing them. We often played Scrabble to keep her brain sharp, or card games. I am comfortable cleaning, entertaining, making meals for seniors. I do not have nurse or hospice training for more serious medical needs. I enjoy learning from older people and listening to stories about their life and family.
