My name is Shannon. My husband and I recently moved to Philadelphia from Minnesota. I have done childcare on and off since I was 12 years old, including after school care for 2 school aged kids, for 3-4 hours per day when I was in high school. I also spent a summer in college working as an overnight camp counselor for ages 8-12, and another summer caring for a 10-year-old girl on workdays. I completed my family medicine residency training in July, and will be starting work at a clinic starting mid-September. My family medicine training has allowed me to gain skill and comfort in working with infants and toddlers. Given that I am not yet working my full time job, my schedule is flexible currently, and I would love to care for your kids for a day, weekend, or a date night.
