About Shannon

Hi there! My name is Shannon! I'm a creative and fun-loving nanny who's giddy to help your family!! Since graduating with a BFA in Theater, nannying has been my primary source of income. I've watched children from ages 5 mo-10 years. I am extremely clean and responsible and pride myself in maintaining a healthy, loving, and creative environment where your children can thrive. My childcare philosophy is deeply influenced by Montessori theory, play-based learning, and gentle-parenting. As a care provider, I believe it's MY job to make YOUR job easier. That's why I've always included general housekeeping, organizing, and daily family meal prep along with my nannying services. I am fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and continue to take safety precautions like wearing masks and staying up to date with boosters. I am currently pursuing my dreams of becoming a comedian/filmmaker/artist. I live in Ridgewood, Queens with my 4-year-old pug Booger!
