I am first and foremost a Christian. I love the Lord with all my heart. I raised five children of my own and now am a grandmother to seven rambunctious little ones! I have attended 12 natural births and had the privilege of being the doula to seven of those. I was an elementary teacher's assistant and also the art teacher for grades K-8. I love being around children. I was a Home Health Aid during my earlier years, so I also have many years of experience caring for the elderly. My nature is to love, nurture, and teach. I am CPR certified. I am willing to do light housekeeping and some cooking. I can definitely help with children's meals, school work, arts, and crafts. I can also assist with potty training! Shannon was/is an amazing asset to our family! I was hesitant having someone watch our newborn when I went back to work but she quickly showed us how caring, prompt, honest, and loving she was towards us and our children. She not only took care of and loved on my newborn but picked up my oldest from school and always found fun and engaging things for him to do at home. I decided to stay home with my babies but wish I could’ve kept Shannon as our nanny because she is amazing! I know that we will keep in touch as well because she has become a lifelong family friend!
