About Shannon

Hi, I'm Shannon! I'm a 36-year-old single woman with a career background in early childhood education, dance/movement therapy, healthcare, and retail. I'm between jobs because of the pandemic, and would love to help your family out while utilizing my skill sets. I have a master's degree in Expressive Arts Therapy (dance/theatre/music in counseling). Prior to that, I owned and operated a yoga studio. I have been working with children in different capacities since I was 12, when I started a neighborhood babysitting company! I am comfortable with children of any age (babies through adolescence) or background, including special needs. I am happy to help your children with their schoolwork if they are learning from home. I am very creative, physically active, outdoorsy, and entrepreneurial. I am reliable, responsible, and very communicative with clients/employers.
