About Shannon

Hi! I'm Shannon and I'm from Northfield, MN! I graduated high school in 2024 and I'm now in college in Chicago studying Musical Theatre! I have lots of childcare experience including nannying for one 2-year-old three days a week all of last year. I also have worked at the YMCA in child watch. I've babysat countless times for toddlers, school age kids, and have experience caring for kids with disabilities as well. I've also worked at a children's theatre company as a stage manager and assistant choreographer. I love working with kids because I love their optimism and encouraging their creativeness. I'm very responsible and always put the children's needs and safety before my own. I'm very attentive and perceptive. I like to come up with detailed plans for games and activities when I'm nannying, but also love collaborating with the families I work for to figure out fun plans. I love to incorporate music into teaching moments as well!
