About Shannon

I am a fun and caring UCLA master's student looking for part time work as I get through school. I have experience leading day camp activities for toddlers and middle schoolers, tutoring 6-year-olds with reading, and tutoring adults looking to get their GED. I have also taught children ages 7-11 how to waterski and wakeboard. I took the GMAT recently to get into my master's program, so I am refreshed on algebra and statistics concepts for tutoring. My Dad has four siblings and my mom has 8 siblings, so I had lots of cousins to babysit throughout my middle school and high school years. I am a great listener and mediator, but I am also not afraid to be strict when required. I love encouraging kids to be creative, either coming up with skits and songs, drawing, or just trying out new little game. I'm also a pet lover with experience pet sitting and volunteering at dog shelters.
