About Shannon

Hi, I'm Shannon! I love working with kids, and have many years of childcare experience. Most recently, I have been nannying an infant in Sleepy Hollow. I grew up in Bergen County, NJ, and am currently in grad school part-time at SUNY New Paltz to become a child therapist. I have extensive experiences working with infants to teens, including at New Paltz Youth Center, All About Me Early Learning Center, and Tenafly Nature Center's outdoor summer camp, in addition to various babysitting, tutoring, and volunteer experiences. I am very interested in working with families on a part-time basis to provide fun, engaging experiences for kids. I take into account each child's strengths, interests, and stage of development, to build a strong relationship where each child feels respected and supported.
